Urooj's Penchants

یہ بھی ہو سکتا ہے کہ کسی کہانی میں وہ ایک احساس کہ جسے محبت کہا جاتا ہے کب کا ختم ہو چکا ہو اور اب صرف ماضی کی غلطیوں کا ازالہ باقی رہ گیا ہو۔  لوگ انجام  دیکھنا چاہتےہوں مگر یہ بھی ہو سکتا ہے کہ کوئی انجام ہی میں جی رہا ہو۔  لوگ صرف گناہ دیکھ رہے ہوں اور کوئی ان گناہوں کی سزا کاٹ رہا ہو!  اور لوگ آباد رہنے کی دعائیں دیتے ہوں اور کوئی کب کا اُجڑ  چکا ہو۔

  ہمارے ابا ایک مزدور آدمی تھے۔ ہم جب سے سمجھ دار ہوئے ہم نے انھیں معمولی معاوضے پر گاؤں بھر کے کام کاج کرتے دیکھا۔ہمیں یاد ہے کہ جب ہم بھائی پانچ سات سیر وزن اٹھانے کے قابل ہوئے تو ابا کے ساتھ ساتھ ہم نے بھی بوجھ اٹھانا شروع کر دیا تھا ابا کی کمائی سے جو روکھی سوکھی ملتی ہم بہن بھائی خوشی خوشی کھا لیتے۔ مگر بچے تھے کبھی کبھار اچھا کھانے کی خواہش دل میں ضرور جاگتی۔۔مگر اسے ہم ہر بار تھپکی دے کر سلا دیتے۔ ابا نے مرغیاں پالی ہوئی تھیں ۔ عید پر جب پھپھو آتی تو جاتے ہوئے ابا انھیں دو مرغیاں دے دیتے۔ اس کے علاوہ بھی جب کبھی آتیں تو ابا انھیں ان مرغِیوں کے دیسی انڈے دیتے یعنی خالی ہاتھ وہ پھپھو کو کبھی نہیں جانے دیتے تھے۔ ہر ماہ میں ایک آدھ بار ابا انھی مرغیوں میں سے کسی ایک کو ذبح کرتے تو ہم بہن بھائی بہت خوش ہوتے۔ ہمیں سیر ہو کر کھاتے دیکھنا ہی ہمارے اماں ابا کی خوشی کا باعث ہوتا سو وہ مہینے بعد پکنے والا گوشت بھی نہ کھاتے اور اپنے حصے کی بوٹیاں ہماری پلیٹوں میں ڈال دیتے۔ اس کے باوجود ہم نئے سرے سے اگلے ماہ کے دن گننا شروع کردیتے۔ کہ کب مرغی پکے گی اور ہم کھائیں گے۔ ابا اکثر ہم بھا...

  Having an amount of followers on social media doesn't mean that someone is perfect . We are all humans; committing sins differently. No-one is perfect. Many times , people are going through battles of thier own , however we judge them from our perspective.

If you are feeling down, just reflect upon the blessings Allah Almighty has blessed you with. Never think about the things that you don't have. Stay contented with what you have. It will become a source of happiness for you. And always make your heart stay connected to Allah.

  Once upon a time, while travelling from Bagh to Islamabad, the bus stopped infront of a hotel (xyz) for some rest and refreshments. One of the passenger's kid asked his father the reason for this interupt in journey. His father replied contemptuously" *کیونکہ یہ اس علاقے کا سب سے گھٹیا ترین ہوٹل ہے" ,* while enjoying the snacks. The moment I heard this dialogue , I was extremely shocked. Is this the lesson we are teaching our new generation? The innocent kid started laughing. The man didn't even bother to realise what he has said as well as how it will make an impact in his child's upbringing. No matter where you have lived, we must never forget our values , our traditions, our people and our places. It is our reponsibility to become a guidance for our generation .They will behave the way we behave .They copy and improvise our actions. It is our responsibility to make our children stay connected to our forefathers. Always think before you speak .As the say...

  Many years ago , I noticed a person; distributing biscuits within few kids. I was unable to understand what is happening. I asked a girl passing by regarding this matter . She replied "یہ صرف یتیم بچوں کو بسکٹ دے رہے" Suddenly, I saw she had three biscuits in her hand. It was really heartbreaking. Many people were praising the man for his kindness. I don't have any objection on helping out these kids. However, my question is that, is it so neccessary to make a child realize the fact that he has no parent. Why are we highlighting a child and reminding him that he is orphan. Please bring this tradition to an end that you call few kids infront of so many people to distribute things. This so-called pretension to be kind-hearted needs to be stopped.

  I respect you all and your choices regarding your respective leader. However , it is a humble request to not disrespect others. No matter what the reason is , humanity should not be forgotten. I was heartbroken to see a person's social media post ; in which he was resembling a leader from a political party to firhoun. We all are humans , then nothing should be able to make us forget humanity . Politics is a way that people living in groups make decisions . Its an opinion, and we all have the right to have our own opinion .But this does not mean that we fall from humanity and become animals for the sake of mere politics.

  I watched an international TV show on my phone ; in which the host was a young man, while his guest was a little kid. The host starts interviewing the kid, in order to make the show entertaining for the audience. After few minutes, the little kid noticed , "your pants are black and my pants are black," to which the the host added "look we both have black shoes." This was the moment that a sudden realization struck me - the small kid gave me the biggest lesson of my life. I loved the fact how a child noticed the similarity of colour in clothing , not the difference in their skin colour. As a society, we need to understand that children don't see colour of skin until we make them see it. Its our responsibility to build a positive mindset.

Don't judge anyone on the basis of his/her profession. Always respect those who earn for their family. A person should be appreciated for his hardwork rather than his profession. Show immense respect for his/her dedication to work. Also teach your kids ; to respect every worker no matter which profession they belong to.
